Dr. DuPont is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in solo practice. He works with all kinds of patients to help them improve their mental health and develop a fulfilling life.  He has particular interest in helping people with concerns surrounding anger/emotion management, anxiety, depression, identity, self-esteem, stress, trauma, medical conditions, and disability. 

Dr. DuPont builds an alliance to provide psychoeducation on the problems you face.  He teaches accurate thinking, goal setting & follow-through, problem solving, and increased self-awareness to replace unhelpful patterns and foster practical solutions. This helps you gain a fuller understanding of yourself, harness your innate capacities, and build a meaningful, purposeful life.

Dr. DuPont has made New York City his home for nearly 20 years, which has given him numerous experiences that make his practice unique. He taught philosophy at City College of New York, and worked in various research and management roles in the corporate world, and brings this experience with him to his practice. He also shares his philosophical expertise to offer insights from many of the greatest philosophers to supplement his experience with and training in Adlerian, REBT, CBT, and Rogeian therapy.
