Professional Background

Kelly L. Burns is a board certified art therapist and licenced mental health counselor based in central Florida. She has a diverse background working with people of all ages struggling with trauma by helping facilitate how art therapy is used as part of the healing process. Her specialty areas of practice include treatment of trauma and PTSD, anxiety and depression disorders, and working with survivors of natural and human caused disasters.

Kelly has provided consultation to community organizations and nonprofits on program development and art therapy, and is frequently asked to speak on the topics of art therapy and behavioral health.
