MoodMission helps you learn new and better ways of coping with stress, low mood, depression, and anxiety. Tell MoodMission how you’re feeling and it will give you a tailored list of 5 Missions that can help you feel better and improve your wellbeing.

Missions are mental health strategies that are quick, easily achievable, and backed up by scientific evidence, including:
★ Mindfulness meditations
★ Relaxation
★ Exercise and fitness activities
★ Affirmations and coping statements
★ Behavioural activation
★ Yoga
★ Gratitude
And heaps of other proven mood boosting activities.

It's a simple as doing a Mission and boosting your mood.

MoodMission is based in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), which is an evidence-based psychological therapy for anxiety and depression. Anyone can use MoodMission, whether you just want a lift in your day or need a bit more help recovering from anxiety or depression.

A randomised controlled trial has shown that MoodMission can improve mental health and wellbeing (Bakker et al., 2019), and two other studies published in scientific journals have provided further support (Bakker & Rickard, 2019; Bakker et al., 2018). Randomised controlled trials are the gold standard of scientific evidence, and very few available mental health apps have RCT support (Firth et al., 2018).

Completing Missions earns you rewards in the app, motivating you to take steps towards becoming healthier, happier, and more confident. Plus a Mission log helps you track your progress over time.

MoodMission learns which types of Missions work best for you, so the more you use MoodMission the better it gets at tailoring your Mission suggestions.

MoodMission is not a replacement for professional help. If you are experiencing anxiety, depression, or any mental health issue, talk to your GP or contact a psychologist for support.

This works. Only knocking off a star because, when I was in crisis and tried to use the app to help, it blocked me out and forced me to retake the evaluations first. Wish there was an override to get access to at least one emergency exercise in those times. (There IS a link to emergency mental health services, but that's not always what's needed in the moment.)

A great help for breaking the cycles of depression and anxiety. The missions are suggestions of things you can do to lift your mood and I can always find an idea that appeals to me. Most are simple, short and fun. New features in the paid version are favourite missions and create your own missions. Also expeditions to overcome specific fears - only 3 at the moment. You do a couple of short surveys at the beginning which are ok. There are optional surveys, I did one and found it too long.

I highly recommend this app to anyone and everyone interested in their own wellbeing! *Suitable and appropriate for teens and adults. *Clean and sleek design makes it easy to navigate and use. *Is informative and educational without overwhelming the user. *Provides a range of practical and helpful strategies and activities from which to choose. Overall, WELL WORTH the purchase price.
