Professional Background

Ashley Gersh is a licensed therapist in private practice and the owner of Action Ashley, where she helps clients take action to better their lives. She is passionate about helping people overcome grief triggered by death and ambiguous loss (i.e., breakups, estrangement from family, chronic illness, etc.). She is also dedicated to empowering adolescents, young adults, and professionals through challenging
life transitions.

In practice, she uses her extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients ground themselves and continue moving in the direction of the life they want to live. She offers a supportive, non-judgmental, compassionate environment utilizing ACT, Mindfulness Based Practices, and CBT to help with a client’s needs. Ashley is passionate about helping her clients find clarity and confidence as they move forward from grief. She provides action-oriented therapy, offering tools to help clients get their energy and motivation back, find hope, build confidence, and reconnect with life.
