Christina Harmon is a trauma-informed holistic psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience in treating groups, individuals, families, couples, children, teens, and adolescents.
She is trained and certified in treating: addictions, anger, depression, suicidality, anxiety, panic disorders, sexual assault, domestic violence, trauma, PTSD, low self-esteem, grief & loss, mood disorders, personality disorders, medical challenges and chronic pain.
She embraces a collaborative and client-centered approach to psychotherapy, allowing clients the dignity and respect of being “the expert ” on themselves!
In therapy, she often combines evidence-based treatment models such as ACT, DBT, CBT, and Brief Solution Focused Therapy, with alternative forms treatments such as hypnotherapy, EMDR, light therapy, and brainspotting.
Christina is passionate about advocating to eliminate the STIGMA of mental health, helping the oppressed and vulnerable populations (including victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault) to have more shelters and resources. She is also a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and people of color.
