Professional Background

Jeremy Pieper, MS, LMFT is the lead psychotherapist at a day treatment serving adolescents. He has dedicated the last 20 years to working with youth and their families. Jeremy is fortunate to have a wealth of experiences working with children and their families including tutoring, traditional outpatient therapy, acute inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, and parent education. He has also shared his knowledge through teaching educational seminars and news interviews. Jeremy has also been part of implementation teams at the inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric unit to build a DBT program and the $14 million expansion, including physical space and programming. He was also the lead for the implementation team that brought Attachment, Relationship, and Competency (ARC) trauma-informed care to the hospital unit.

Jeremy believes in the power of relationship in therapy and is proud that his most frequently received compliment is,”I normally don’t trust others but I trust you.” He uses that relationship to guide his clients in developing trust in themselves and the skills they need to be successful. The journey is tailored to each person and can be fully directed or a journey of self-discovery.
