At a glance
  • Brightside does not publish coupon codes. A standing promotion runs through partner links. This link attaches Brightside’s affiliate promo to your signup automatically, verified August 29, 2026. Brightside doesn’t publish an amount for it, so your checkout price is the confirmation.
  • Insurance usually saves more than any promo. Brightside advertises a $25 average copay per session versus $299 a month self-pay therapy, It also accepts most major plans as well as some Medicare and Medicaid.
  • The assessment that starts signup is free for everyone, with or without a code.

Brightside Health is online psychiatry and therapy for anxiety and depression, with self-pay prices at $95 a month for psychiatry, $299 for therapy, and $349 for both. Its site does not have discount banners, code-entry field, or promo FAQs. The only promotions are partner links. We verified on August 29, 2026 that our tracked link lands on Brightside with a promo attached, so there is no code to type.

How to get the promo applied

  1. Open the tracked link. Brightside’s own site code attaches the promo to every signup button on the page you land on.
  2. Take the free assessment and create your account. The promo parameter follows you into the intake.
  3. Check the price shown at checkout before paying. Brightside publishes the promo’s amount nowhere on its site, so the checkout price is your only confirmation of what applied.

If a checkout screen offers a code or reference field, that field serves the same link-borne promos and provider-referral codes; there is no separate public code to put in.

Brightside has no financial aid or sliding scale, and we found no military discount or published member referral program. Its own affordability answer for the uninsured is the $95 psychiatry tier.

Check your insurance first

Insurance can lowers what you pay every month. At Brightside’s advertised $25 average copay, four therapy sessions run about $100 against $299 self-pay. It is in-network with Cigna, Aetna, Ambetter, UnitedHealthcare, and Blue Cross Blue Shield among others, “covering over 150 million lives” by its count.  Nrightside also covers some Medicare and Medicaid plans. Nothing published says promos apply to insurance billing, so treat the promo as a self-pay checkout matter.

The billing complaints in Brightside’s Trustpilot reviews center on cost surprises. Reviewers describe not knowing a visit’s price beforehand and charges arriving weeks after the appointment. Ask your insurer for your copay and deductible position before the first visit, and mind the 24-hour cancellation window.

Codes that don’t work

Coupon sites list Brightside promo codes that contradict each other on the same day: $55 off, $57 off, 20 percent off, and 50 percent off. None of those amounts appear anywhere on Brightside’s site. The biggest listed code expired over a year ago by the coupon site’s own flag, and some listed “deals” are just the assessment that is free for everyone anyway. Brightside has never published coupon codes, so a typed code from an aggregator has nothing official to match against. The only discount that works is the one the link attaches automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a Brightside promo code?

Not a public one. Brightside runs its standing promotion through partner links that attach the promo automatically. Ours carries it, verified August 29, 2026. Typed codes from coupon sites are the ones that fail.

How much is the Brightside discount?

Click here to open the answer container.Click here to close the answer container.

Brightside does not publish the promo’s value since it is automatically applied at checkout. The verifiable savings are insurance copays (about $25 a session average, per Brightside), the $45 bundle saving, and the free assessment.

Does Brightside have a student discount?

Brightside’s own footer links students to a Student Beans verification page, so the channel is real. The public listing shows no current amount. Verify the live offer inside Student Beans after confirming your student status.

What is the Brightside Health reference code field for?

Click here to open the answer container.Click here to close the answer container.

Brightside’s signup flow handles link-borne promos and provider referral codes. If you arrived through a promo link, your discount is already attached and the field needs nothing.

Does the promo work with insurance?

Nothing published says so. Promos apply to self-pay checkout, and insured members pay plan copays instead. With insurance, your saving comes from coverage itself, which usually beats any one-time promo. Our Brightside Health review covers what treatment costs in practice, and we compare it with BetterHelp in our Brightside vs BetterHelp guide.
