Coaches often end up using one tool for scheduling, another for notes and a third for contracts or invoices. Simply.Coach brings that work into one platform. Built in Pune, India, and used in more than 35 countries, it manages scheduling, session notes, goals and action plans, forms and assessments, contracts, invoices, and between-session client check-ins through a portal and mobile app. It is designed for life, career, leadership and business coaches, therapists and counsellors who add coaching to their practice, and coaching businesses and corporate learning teams that manage multiple coaches. It is not a clinical record system, so there is no diagnostic charting, insurance billing or superbills.

Pros & Cons of Simply.Coach
- Every tier includes one-to-one and group coaching, a client portal and app, session notes, goals and action plans, nudges, forms, contracts with e-signature, invoicing, payment tracking, calendar sync and a HIPAA business associate agreement.
- Client accounts are free, so clients do not pay to use the portal.
- Support scores 4.9 on Capterra and SoftwareAdvice and 5.0 on GetApp. Support is also the most common positive theme in user reviews.
- Annual billing lowers the price by 17% to 53%, depending on the tier, and the 14-day trial does not require a card.
- Video sessions use your existing Zoom, Teams, Google Meet or Webex account, so clients do not have to learn another platform.
- The web app, mobile app and notifications support seven languages, although the pricing FAQ still lists only three.
- Recurring forms, session forms, pre-, mid- and post-engagement assessments and email customization are limited to the $89 Leap tier for solo coaches.
- Reviewers describe a learning curve, non-intuitive navigation in places and an overwhelming first-run experience. One tester reported spending three to four hours on configuration.
- Human support follows India hours. In Eastern time, it is available until 12:30 PM and again after 9:30 PM, with an AI assistant covering the gap.
- Text message reminders cost an extra $29 a month on every tier.
- The pricing page labels automated invoices as "coming soon," while the payments page describes them as live.
- Mid-cycle cancellations are not refunded, and the terms require 60 days' written notice before a subscription term ends to stop auto-renewal.

Coaching formats and tooling
One-to-one and group or team coaching are included on all four solo tiers. The workflow follows a familiar coaching sequence: contracts, goals, sessions, actions, reflections and stakeholder feedback. The company says the settings can be customized to ICF, EMCC or MGSCC frameworks. Coaches can send behaviour nudges to the client app, keep private journals for both coach and client, and build 360-degree feedback and self-reflection surveys with customizable digital tools.
Simply.Coach calls its reusable programs Journeys. A Journey can schedule notes, actions, surveys and session invitations. The limits are one Journey on Starter, three on Essentials, ten on Growth and unlimited on Leap.
Recurring forms, session forms and pre-, mid- and post-engagement assessments are available only on Leap. A coach who uses the same instrument at the beginning and end of each engagement therefore needs the $89 monthly plan or the $69 annual rate.
The signup flow
We followed the signup flow in a browser and stopped before creating an account. The form asks for your name, email, an optional referral code, and a password of at least ten characters with mixed case, a number and a symbol. You can also sign up with Google or Microsoft. There is no card field, phone number or business address. The page promises a free 14-day trial, a free client portal, free one-to-one onboarding and setup help, and in-app live chat. That matches the pricing FAQ, which says the trial opens every feature with no commitment.
Ease-of-use scores are 4.5 on Capterra and SoftwareAdvice and 4.6 on GetApp. Even five-star reviewers mention the number of features and clumsy navigation when booking calls. A third-party tester in April 2026 described the first run as overwhelming and reported three to four hours of configuration. Complimentary onboarding sessions are included on Growth and Leap and on every business plan.
Scheduling, sessions and video
The $19 Starter plan already includes booking pages, an availability calendar, multiple session types, pre-session preparation forms, and a rescheduling and cancellation tracker. Calendar sync works with Google, Microsoft and Apple calendars. Starter and Essentials include one calendar connection, while Growth and Leap include three. Recurring sessions, a frequent request in reviews, start with Growth. No plan limits session length or session count. The active-client limits are 3, 7, 30 and unlimited.
Simply.Coach does not host video itself. It generates links for Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Cisco Webex inside the platform. Clients can use a video tool they already know, but you still pay for that separate account.
The client portal and app
Clients receive the portal and mobile app at no charge. They can view sessions, goals, actions, shared files and journals, chat with their coach, and respond to nudges. One tester found that roughly three in ten clients used the portal after setup. The iOS app has a 5.0 rating from four ratings, while the Android listing shows more than a thousand downloads and no displayed rating. That is too little app-store data to score meaningfully. Capterra reviewers also note that some desktop features are missing from the mobile apps.
Email notifications are included. Text notifications cost an additional $29 a month or $290 a year on every plan.
Contracts and invoicing
Every tier includes digital contracts with e-signature, offline contract tracking, invoicing and payment tracking. Invoices support automatic numbering, discounts, status tracking and automated reminders. Payments run through Stripe or PayPal, which together cover cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, ACH and buy-now-pay-later options. Simply.Coach does not publish processing fees, so check Stripe’s and PayPal’s current rates before pricing your packages.
The automated-invoice information is inconsistent. The pricing page marks the feature as “coming soon,” while the payments page describes it as available. Confirm its status with support before relying on it.
There is no insurance billing, clearinghouse, CPT coding or superbill feature. That is normal for coaching software, but it will not cover the needs of a licensed clinician who bills insurance.
Business plans
Coaching businesses and corporate learning teams pay by active coach. CoCreate costs $99 a month, or $79 annually, plus $29 per additional coach. It includes an internal coach finder, three Journey templates and ten clients per coach. Surge costs $199 or $159, plus $29 per coach, and adds multiple calendars, recurring sessions, white-labelling with your own domain, program managers, sponsor seats and 25 clients per coach. Optima costs $349 or $289, plus $39 per coach, and adds coach payouts, program-based coach matching, NPS tracking, automated reports, round-robin scheduling and 50 clients per coach. Enterprise is priced on request and adds SSO, a SOC 2 report, a dedicated account manager and migration support. Volume pricing is negotiated above 50 coaches.
Cost and insurance
Simply.Coach publishes every solo and business price. The annual rates shown below apply only when you pay for a full year up front.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing (per month) | Active clients | Programs | Storage | Notable gates |
| Starter | $19 | $9 ($108 a year) | 3 | 1 | 1 GB | 1 calendar |
| Essentials | $39 | $29 ($348 a year) | 7 | 3 | 10 GB | 1 calendar |
| Growth | $59 | $49 ($588 a year) | 30 | 10 | 50 GB | 3 calendars, recurring sessions, your logo, onboarding |
| Leap | $89 | $69 ($828 a year) | Unlimited | Unlimited | 100 GB | Assessments, white label, custom domain, SOC 2 report |
Prices are from the Simply.Coach solopreneur pricing page and were checked on 22 September 2026 in USD. Annual billing saves 53% on Starter, 26% on Essentials, 17% on Growth and 23% on Leap. Text notifications cost $29 a month on every tier. For business plans, each additional active coach costs $29 or $39.
The trial lasts 14 days and does not require a card. When it ends, access is suspended until you subscribe through Stripe. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. You can also cancel at any time, but there are no mid-cycle refunds and access continues through the paid period. The terms include two details that do not appear in the pricing FAQ: written notice of non-renewal is required at least 60 days before the subscription term ends, and the company may raise fees at the start of a new term. Service data is scheduled for deletion 90 days after the account closes.
Insurance is not part of the product. There is no claims feature, HSA or FSA handling, or superbill.
Alternatives
Practice Better and SimplePractice add clinical records. Delenta is a coaching platform more directly comparable with Simply.Coach.
Practice Better, rated 4.5 in our Practice Better review, starts at $69 a month on Professional, with a free Sprout plan for three clients and a $35 Starter plan for ten. It combines intake, charting, telehealth, programs, payments and insurance add-ons. Its strengths are clinical documentation, programs and payments in one system, the free Sprout tier, and a 14-day trial on paid plans. It does not include coaching structures such as nudges, stakeholder feedback or reusable coaching Journeys, and annual billing saves only 10%. It is best suited to a health coach or therapist who needs charting alongside coaching.
SimplePractice, rated 4.5 in our SimplePractice review, costs $49 to $99 and up per month. Its 30-day trial does not require a card. This is a clinical EHR with insurance billing and a client portal. Insurance billing is built in, the trial starts on Plus, and subscribers who convert in the first week receive 50% off for three months. The tradeoffs are no coaching tools, a $20 annual CPT code fee per clinician, AI notes at $35 a month, and additional clinicians starting at $74. It fits a licensed clinician whose coaching work sits inside an insurance-billing practice.
Delenta is the coaching-specific competitor most often compared with Simply.Coach. Starter costs $29 a month or $229 a year for ten client portals. Pro costs $49 or $469 and adds group coaching and a branded landing page. Premium costs $79 or $699 and includes unlimited portals, a custom domain, a course creator and the mobile app. All plans include a 14-day trial. Delenta’s entry tier costs more than Simply.Coach but allows ten clients instead of three. Delenta reserves its app and custom domain for Premium, while Simply.Coach includes the app on every tier and reserves the custom domain for Leap. Delenta also offers a course creator and sales pages, which Simply.Coach does not. These Delenta prices came from its own pricing page and were checked on 22 September 2026.
CoachAccountable and Paperbell are two more coaching platforms to consider. CoachAccountable includes every feature on every plan and prices by active clients, from $20 a month for two clients to $120 for twenty, with a 30-day card-free trial. Paperbell charges $57 a month for unlimited clients and sessions and includes a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Simply.Coach User Reviews
Simply.Coach’s ratings are consistently high, although the review pools are still modest. G2 shows 4.8 out of 5 from 155 reviews. Capterra, SoftwareAdvice and GetApp share one pool of 42 reviews and show an overall rating of 4.6, with customer support at 4.9 to 5.0, value for money at 4.8 and ease of use at 4.5 to 4.6.2 Trustpilot has no reviews. Simply.Coach’s own review page shows G2 High Performer badges and named testimonials rather than a rating.
Reviews from 2022 through September 2026 return to the same strengths. Coaches like replacing separate scheduling, invoicing and note-taking tools with one platform. They describe support as quick and responsive, mention regular feature additions, and frequently call out the value. In a March 2026 review, one reviewer said the biggest benefit was the money saved by consolidating tools.
The complaints are also fairly consistent: complex navigation and workflows, a learning curve, confusion between forms and digital tools, form reports that look unprofessional, mobile apps that do not include every desktop feature, and requests for more scheduling options. A one-star Capterra reviewer in August 2025 called the platform clunky and reported limited trial functionality, although the company’s FAQ says the trial includes every feature. One reviewer also described an early time-zone mismatch with support hours, which was later resolved.
