Professional Background

Luke Prest is an accomplished pediatrician who has been providing medical care to children since 2019. A graduate of the University of Iowa in 2016, he received extensive training in the underlying aspects of health such as anatomy, physiology, and medications. Through his medical training, he developed a deep understanding of the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various disorders.

After medical school, Dr. Prest went on to complete a three-year pediatric residency at the Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. During his residency, he managed the care of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He graduated with a focus on pediatric advocacy, which he believes is crucial to his role as a pediatrician.

Dr. Prest is currently a pediatrician for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, seeing patients in his office and serves as the medical director for an inpatient pediatric consult service. Prior to this position, he was a pediatrician for Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph, MO.
