MyClientsPlus was a longstanding, budget-friendly EHR built for mental health providers, especially solo and small-group practices. It offered a no-frills mix of scheduling, notes, billing, and insurance tools with a reputation for reliability over flash. However, MyClientsPlus has been acquired by Ensora Health and no longer exists as a standalone brand. While the original name is gone, its core functionality lives on within Ensora’s current Mental Health EHR lineup.
Editor’s Note
MyClientsPlus was acquired by Ensora Health and appears to have been rolled into Ensora’s broader Mental Health EHR platform, alongside TheraNest. While the original MyClientsPlus branding seems to have been retired, its core features still appear to be accessible through Ensora’s current product lineup.1 We’re monitoring the situation and will update this page as more details become available.

- Telehealth features were relatively basic
Overview of MyClientsPlus
Ensora Mental Health—having now absorbed what was once MyClientsPlus—offers a wide range of tools for solo providers, group practices, and larger organizations. It includes core features like customizable charting templates, appointment scheduling, telehealth, billing tools, and client portals. Ensora also emphasizes insurance billing, ERA support, and flexible note-taking options for therapists who need structure without sacrificing speed. All plans include a client portal, HIPAA-compliant communication, and access to mobile apps for on-the-go use.
While it’s still unclear how much of the original MyClientsPlus DNA remains, the Ensora platform seems designed to serve a similar audience, with a more modern infrastructure and a broader scope. Once we’ve completed our firsthand review of the new Ensora system, we’ll link it here for a closer look.

MyClientsPlus Overview
We didn’t get the chance to do a full hands-on review of MyClientsPlus like we usually would before it was rolled into Ensora Health’s new platform. However, we’re familiar with the system’s feature set and general reputation among providers. Based on that knowledge, the information Ensora still provides on its site, and past knowledge gathered from internet archives, we’ve offered provisional star ratings below to help you get a sense of where MyClientsPlus stood at the time of its transition.
Keep in mind that these ratings reflect the legacy MyClientsPlus product as it was prior to the rebrand. Once we’ve had the chance to thoroughly test the new Ensora Health EHR, we’ll provide updated ratings and analysis for that platform.

Cost & Pricing
While MyClientsPlus was historically one of the more affordable EHRs for solo providers, it no longer exists as a standalone product. Ensora Health has since integrated both MyClientsPlus and TheraNest into its flagship Mental Health platform.
Ensora currently offers three main pricing tiers, with features and user limits scaling accordingly. As of this writing:
- Essentials Plan – $26.58 monthly per provider
Includes charting, telehealth, scheduling, notes, secure messaging, and billing. - Advanced Plan – $54.08 monthly per provider
Adds online booking, custom intake forms and notes, and more insurance billing features. - Pro Plan – $59/month per provider
Adds insurance billing automations, Wiley Practice Planner, unlimited telehealth sessions, claims processing, and more.
You can compare features or start a 21-day trial on Ensora’s current pricing page.
Alternatives & Competitors
MyClientsPlus was once known as a straightforward, budget-friendly EHR for behavioral health providers, especially solo clinicians and small practices. While it offered core features like scheduling, notes, and billing, it didn’t stand out for advanced capabilities or deep customization. For those looking for similar tools, a few options are worth considering:
SimplePractice
A well-known platform with a polished user interface, SimplePractice offers everything from appointment reminders to billing and integrated telehealth as well as business management and marketing tools. It’s popular among solo practitioners but does cost more than MyClientsPlus once did.

- Intuitive calendar
- Good onboarding support
- Professional website builder
- Mobile app for practitioners and clients

TherapyNotes
A strong contender for practices that prioritize insurance billing and detailed documentation. TherapyNotes isn’t as customizable as some, but it’s a workhorse EHR with an excellent reputation for reliability and support.

History & News
Year Founded: 2005
Headquarters: Kennewick, Washington, USA
MyClientsPlus was a web-based EHR and practice management platform tailored for behavioral health professionals, offering tools for scheduling, documentation, billing, and client engagement. In April 2025, Therapy Brands, the parent company of MyClientsPlus, rebranded as Ensora Health. This rebranding aimed to unify their suite of behavioral health solutions under a single identity, reflecting a commitment to integrated, whole-person care.1
Post-rebrand, MyClientsPlus was consolidated into Ensora Health’s Mental Health EHR platform. While the MyClientsPlus name has been phased out, its core functionalities, such as customizable note templates, billing features, and client management tools remain accessible within Ensora’s current offerings. Ensora Health has indicated plans to enhance these features further, integrating advanced technologies like AI to streamline clinical documentation and administrative tasks.
For existing users, Ensora Health has provided resources to facilitate the transition, ensuring continuity of service and support. The company has emphasized that while branding and interfaces may evolve, the foundational tools and services that users relied upon with MyClientsPlus continue to be available within the Ensora Health ecosystem.
