Many find comfort in their faith of choice when depressed or facing difficult circumstances. There are many religious texts across cultures that can provide a grounding feeling of faith, either in themselves or in a higher power. For those who appreciate a Christian philosophy regarding faith, here are several Bible verses about depression, taken from the New Living Translation.

You don’t have to deal with anxiety or depression on your own. Speak with a Christian therapist and receive the support you need. Complete a brief questionnaire on Faithful Counseling to be matched with a therapist who brings a Biblical perspective to counseling.
