What happened to Done?
Done (Done Global, Inc.) was a subscription telehealth platform focused on ADHD diagnosis and medication management. In June 2024, the U.S. Department of Justice arrested Done’s founder and its clinical president in connection with an alleged scheme to distribute Adderall and other stimulants through the platform, describing improper prescribing practices and barriers that discouraged appropriate clinical follow-up.
According to court reporting, Done’s founder was convicted and sentenced to six years in federal prison in 2026. The case became a defining moment for the online ADHD industry, and it is the reason many pharmacies had already stopped filling prescriptions that originated from Done.
What this means if you were a Done patient
- Request your medical records. You are entitled to a copy of your treatment records, and any new provider will want your diagnosis history and medication list.
- Do not stop stimulant medication abruptly without guidance. Talk to a licensed prescriber about continuity of care before your current supply runs out.
- Expect a fresh evaluation. Reputable platforms and local psychiatrists will do their own assessment rather than automatically continuing a previous prescription.

How to vet any online ADHD platform
- Look for a genuine diagnostic evaluation, not a quick quiz that leads straight to a prescription.
- Check that the platform encourages ongoing follow-ups and makes it easy to reach your prescriber.
- Be cautious with subscription models that bundle medication access into a flat monthly fee.
- Confirm the prescriber is licensed in your state and that a local pharmacy will fill the prescription.
