Professional Background

Samantha Bickham started her journey as a therapist at a residential facility for adolescents struggling with eating disorders in 2018. She gained awareness and knowledge of the different forms of eating disorders along with the cooccurring disorders of ADHD, depression & anxiety. Through this opportunity, Samantha obtained the experience needed to support not only the individual through the recovery process but also their families and loved ones in providing a safe, supportive environment.

During this time, Samantha had the privilege of working with adolescents that were exploring their sexuality and gender. This meant ensuring they were provided with appropriate resources and support that allowed them to move through this process safely and authentically.

As Samantha grew as a therapist, she wanted to expand her expertise and decided to transition to the group practice, Mindful Living Counseling, in 2021. Here she has worked with clients that have experienced traumatic events, complex childhood trauma, struggles within their relationships, and traumas that arise with infertility and postpartum stressors.
